Successful fruits admitted for processing are divided into two separate assembly lines, for conventional and organic farming.

The products are water-washed and brushed, calibrated, packaged and send to destination over a few hours in order to preserve freshness and quality.

For packaging we use the classic corrugated cardboard boxes and the plastic boxes with folding sides, the Girsac nets and we supply the product either stowed or loose.

Based on the requests of our customers we can make special or customized packages.

As part of our commitment to food safety we have voluntarily adopted an internal product tracking system that allows us to identify the exact origin of each individual Pasam fruit for sale. PASAM lemons do not contain fungicides, waxes or synthetic products.

For over ten years P.A.S.A.M. collaborates for the sale abroad with Fruchtagentur Altes Land, an important German fruit and vegetable agency based in Jork.

In fact, together with the director of the agency, Mister Heeren, we work day by day thanks to a relationship of commercial and ethical growth under the banner of the purest partnership.

Sicilian black bee

The last”Bugni” (log-hive) of Sicilian black bees were found in a “Baglio” in Carini where an old farmer beekeeper produced honey using that ancient system. The “Bugni” contained a few families of bees that Carlo Amodeo, after deciding to practice professional beekeeping, kept in isolation on the islands of Vulcano and Filicudi. With this agreement, PASAM Agrumi wanted to emphasize the importance of being more and more linked to the territory, and this emphasizes our unconditional love for our Sicily.
