It is the “spring” lemon of light yellow color, with an elliptical or ovoid peel, the fruit of the flowering between June and July, naturally following the first.
Compared to the primofiore it has a rougher skin and more seeds inside, a yield of at least 30% compared to its weight and an acidity of at least 5.5%, therefore slightly lower than the primofiore. However, this flowering represents only a small percentage of the totalitarian production of the Syracusan female plant: about 10%.
